The Cost of Shipping Goods to the US Continues to Decline

While container rates have made their most significant declines just in the last few months, we are now well off the highs from August 2021 which priced the China/East Asia to East Coast route just under $21,000 and the China/East Asia to West Coast route at just under $20,000. This drop in freight rates will lead to a significant drop in the CPI (consumer price index) in the coming months.
Freight rates from China/East Asia to the American east and west coasts have plummeted in the last 3 months. This despite China's easing of Covid restrictions earlier in June. @PayItForwardDad @JoeCarlasare @AnselLindner @WittyUsername30 @BitcoinTina https://t.co/h47XmX4Kb1 pic.twitter.com/yI0o2aODyZ
